In the spring of 2018 their board was preparing to take the company public on the TSX and they engaged YCREATIVE to build a bold, dynamic brand that would align with their ambitious vision for the future.

To ensure the brand was grounded in the company’s culture, vision and mission we facilitated a Brand Discovery Workshop with their board and leadership teams, conducted a comprehensive review of the current players in the market, and gathered key insights from industry stakeholders and capital market experts through 1:1 interviews.
Utilizing these insights we built a comprehensive brand identity, positioning strategy, suite of brand expressions, and event materials that would inspire key stakeholders and build trust and affinity with potential investors.
The Pure Global brand identity and personality are a strategic fusion of bold and sophisticated, authoritative and aspirational. The distinctive icon in the logo is a subtle reference to their proprietary cultivation method — a unique fusion of aeroponics and hydroponics where the plants are aligned in rows, and suspended in a precisely calibrated ecosystem. Speaking primarily to investors and key industry stakeholders, the brand voice and communications evokes quality, innovation and leadership without relying on industry jargon or complicated medical data. The taglines ‘Invest. Inhale. Relax. Repeat.’ became the public calling card for the brand and a bold declaration of their intentions in the market.

Using a witty headline-driven narrative juxtaposed against bold, inspirational visuals and custom-designed infographics we created dynamic visual appeal, enabling investors to see the value in the brand with minimal analytical effort, showcasing Pure Global’s values in a fun and engaging way. Informational copy was effortlessly interwoven into this tapestry to educate consumers, investors and champions about how they plan to deliver on their mission. Utilizing the investor communications and PR strategy we helped develop their teams successfully raised over seven figures for their IPO, creating a highly successful entrance into the public cannabis markets.
